Why wasn’t the National Guard on-site on January 6th?

In the Forbes article linked here, there is a discussion that Nancy Pelosi was well aware of the need for the National Guard and refused the support. This is the claim of the Republicans within the House. We’ve been saying this for a while now. However, we’re going to make an amendment to the Republican claim.

Our amendment to the claim is that Nancy wasn’t the only one who knew about the impending attack and decided to NOT have the NG on site because of Optics. We believe that the other party that knew this and participated in this decision was – Mitch McConnell. Which, the article very appropriately points out that the Republicans didn’t mention him. Well, WE DO, We have and we will continue to believe they both made this decision. The Capitol Police are the CAPITOL police – NOT the Police of the House of Representatives. Both the House leader and the Senate Leader have a say.

The discussion on Optics and the knowledge of the pre-planning for the riot on January 6th was known by the FBI, NYPD and the Pentagon. All of which passed that information on to the Capitol Police. We know this from John Solomon’s reporting from Just the News found here. The Republicans correctly point towards the former Capitol Police Chief Sund for the information about it being a question of Optics.

Supposedly, Nancy is calling for a commission to review what the breakdown was. This just means that the people in the know have been paid off and the paperwork associated it has either been classified for 50 years or destroyed.

Time will tell the truth! We hope it doesn’t take 50 years.
